The NSW Government's Vibrancy Reforms aim to support lively, safe and diverse communities - boosting night-time economies, local culture and live music while balancing the needs of residents, councils and businesses.
In 2023, 2024 and 2025, the NSW Parliament passed a series of reforms, known as the Vibrancy Reforms, designed to help make NSW a world-class nightlife destination for visitors, locals and workers.
Under the reforms, the NSW Government has made significant changes to enhance vibrancy including simplifying entertainment sound regulation, supporting outdoor activation and cutting red tape with streamlined approval processes.
Share your views and experience of the Vibrancy Reforms. The survey is open to all current NSW local council staff, or anyone who has worked in NSW local councils since January 2023.
