Have an idea for a seniors‑focused night out, social experience or community event? Funding of $2,000 to $10,000 is available through the NSW Seniors Festival Grants Program for activities taking place between 1 and 14 March 2027.
The grant program supports free or heavily discounted experiences that encourage older people to discover new activities, stay connected and engage with their local communities during NSW Seniors Festival 2027.
Who it is for
Business associations and chambers of commerce
Main street and precinct organisations
Councils and community organisations
Aboriginal organisations and community groups
Not‑for‑profit organisations delivering community programs
This could be an opportunity to create experiences that bring seniors into local centres and precincts such as:
Live music afternoons or early evening events
Food and dining experiences
Guided cultural walks
Intergenerational activities
Community festivals and social gatherings
Workshops, tours or local discovery programs
The 2027 theme is Discover. Connect. Celebrate!, with a focus on helping older people enjoy new experiences and stay active and connected.
