The Multicultural NSW Stronger Together Festival and Event Grants Program provides funding for multicultural and multifaith community groups to deliver festivals and events that celebrate and embrace NSW’s vibrant cultural diversity.
Apply for $5,000 to $20,000 per event or festival.
Event or festival must take place between 1 October 2026 and 30 September 2027.
Applications close at 4pm Monday 13 July 2026.
Only one round of Festival and Event grants is available for 2026-27.
Multicultural NSW are looking for applications from eligible community organisations for festivals and events that:
promote cross-cultural awareness and understanding
engage with a broad cross-section of the NSW community
ensure NSW’s multicultural community can celebrate, preserve and share traditions
are accessible to the public and are welcoming for everyone in NSW.

All applications must be submitted through the SmartyGrants portal available on the Multicultural NSW website by 4pm on Monday 13 July 2025.
