Pavilion Film Festival 2026: 22 - 25 October 2026
The Pavilion Film Festival invites filmmakers and moving image artists to submit works for presentation inside MAP mima’s 360° projection cube - a state-of-the-art immersive environment located in Speers Point Park, Lake Macquarie.
The festival celebrates innovation in screen culture, showcasing short films, experimental video, and panoramic 360° immersive works that challenge the boundaries of cinema and art.
Lake Macquarie City Arts welcome submissions from emerging and established artists and filmmakers across Australia and internationally. Works can span narrative, documentary, animation, experimental, and immersive forms. The festival provides a platform for creative risk-taking, offering audiences a unique sensory experience where moving image meets architecture.
