Red Mill Rum Distillery is a distinctive working distillery and event venue located at 176 Mullens Street, Rozelle NSW 2039 in Sydney's Inner West. Revived by David Fesq, the great-grandson of the original founder, the venue honours the legacy of the historic Red Mill Rum brand while delivering a contemporary craft spirits experience. Set within a character-rich industrial space in the White Bay precinct, the distillery combines heritage, authenticity and premium rum production, creating a unique destination for tastings, private events and immersive visitor experiences.
Red Mill Rum offers a unique event experience within a working craft distillery. Surrounded by copper stills, ageing barrels and active production facilities, the venue provides an authentic industrial backdrop for cocktail receptions, private dinners, corporate functions and special events. Flexible spaces, including the barrel hall and cellar door, can be tailored to a range of event formats, while premium rum tastings, craft cocktails and distillery experiences add a distinctive local flavour to any occasion.
Red Mill Rum Distillery is located within Sydney's historic White Bay precinct, approximately 5-6 km from the Sydney CBD. While the venue can be reached on foot in around 60-75 minutes, public transport offers a more convenient option. Visitors can take the L1 Light Rail to Rozelle Bay Station and enjoy a short 15-minute walk to the venue, while nearby bus services also provide direct connections from the CBD. The venue's proximity to public transport makes it easily accessible for both local visitors and event attendees travelling from the city.
