White Bay Power Station is a landmark 38,000 sqm heritage-listed industrial venue located on Sydney Harbour in Rozelle. Originally developed as a coal-fired power station, the site has been transformed into a distinctive destination for arts and cultural programming, exhibitions, festivals, corporate functions and major events. Its expansive interiors, industrial character and waterfront setting position it as one of Sydney's most unique and versatile event venues.
White Bay Power Station comprises a collection of flexible event spaces that can be hired individually or as a whole-of-venue experience. The Turbine Hall is the site's signature space, featuring soaring ceilings, dramatic industrial architecture and original heritage machinery, making it ideal for large-scale exhibitions, concerts and gala events. The Boiler House provides a multi-level setting with abundant natural light and industrial character, while the Entertainment Hall accommodates up to 200 guests for workshops, community events and private functions. The Pump House offers a more intimate heritage environment suited to smaller gatherings and presentations. Access is generally limited to scheduled events and guided tours, with visitors entering via three main gates connected to the Northern Forecourt. The venue also offers modern amenities, including gender-neutral restrooms and wheelchair-accessible facilities, supporting an inclusive visitor experience.

White Bay Power Station is located approximately 4-4.5 km from the Sydney CBD and can be reached on foot in around 45-55 minutes via the dedicated pedestrian pathway across the Anzac Bridge. While the route offers impressive harbour views, the bridge crossing and adjacent road infrastructure can make the walk less appealing for some visitors. Convenient public transport options include the L1 Light Rail, with a 15-minute walk from Rozelle Bay Station through Rozelle Parklands, and frequent bus services from the CBD that stop on nearby Robert Street, placing visitors within a 2-minute walk of the venue entrance. As a result, the venue is highly accessible by public transport while remaining pedestrian-friendly for those arriving from surrounding areas.
