The Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner was established in 2021 to support the growth of 24-hour Districts across New South Wales.
We aim to integrate planning and placemaking, diversify night-time activities, promote industry and cultural development, improve safety, mobility and connectivity.
One key initiative supporting these efforts is the creation of Neon Marketplace - a digital hub for businesses, creatives, artists, and corporate brands within NSW’s 24-hour economy to share opportunities for collaboration and connection.
The platform also enables potential sponsors, partners, and local businesses to connect directly with Districts to co-create events, activations, and place-based initiatives.
