Rec Alley Gymnastics is a Sydney-area gymnastics organisation that focuses primarily on recreational and inclusive gymnastics, rather than only training elite competitive athletes. It was founded in 2017 and operates clubs in Gregory Hills, Minto, and Oran Park. Our philosophy is that gymnastics is a tool to improve children's physical health, confidence, social skills, and overall wellbeing.
Rec Alley offers programs for a wide range of ages and abilities, including:
Kinder Gym (from about 6 months to 5 years old)
Recreational gymnastics for beginners through advanced levels
Parkour
Acro/Tricking
Adult Gym
Supported classes for additional needs
Competitive pathways (for children who want to progress further)
We believe participation and skill development are prioritised over competition results. We are a developmental club aiming to make gymnastics accessible to all children, including those trying the sport for the first time!
We are seeking opportunities to increase community awareness of our programs. We are particularly interested in participating in family and children’s festivals, markets, and events, especially within kids’ activation spaces in Parramatta region.
