Come have a laugh and sing-a-long with The Bush Billies

The Bush Billies is an exciting new project from Warren Foster Jnr & Tim Hagan of Prodikal-1 + washboard master Matt Gairdner. They mix traditional bush music with comedy and hip-hop swagger. Musically the group explores instruments such as guitar, dulcimer, banjo, stomp box and washboard, mixed with sing-along anthemic bush tales that will leave you in stitches!
The Bush Billies have brought their unique jigs and hysterical banter to gigs and festivals in Sydney, Cobargo, Bermagui, Cowra, Goolagong, Bellingen, Yarrawonga and Coffs Harbour. Their earworm ‘In the Bush’ has been a big hit at live shows with comical lyrics about random stuff often found in the bush:
🎶There’s a rusted Torana and a tape from Santana, in the bush🎶
Coming from the Yuin Djiringanj community of Wallaga Lake on the South Coast of NSW, The Bush Billies front man Warren Foster Jnr is a powerful storyteller and speaks on the importance of culture and Country in his music. His music has had airplay on triple j, FBI Radio, Koori Radio, ABC radio and he has been featured on NITV.
