Stargazer Lawn is a sprawling, 5,000-square-meter of green event space at the summit of Barangaroo Reserve in Sydney. Celebrated for its sweeping panoramic views of the Sydney Harbour and Harbour Bridge.
Stargazer Lawn is a picturesque outdoor venue surrounded by waterfront walkways and sweeping harbour views, making it an ideal setting for markets, community events, filming, photography, picnics* and casual gatherings. The space can be combined with the neighbouring Walumil Lawns to accommodate larger events, while offering stunning views of Sydney Harbour and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The lawn is supported by convenient event infrastructure, including access to power, nearby barbecue facilities, picnic tables and an adjacent underground car park, providing flexibility for a range of event requirements.
Stargazer Lawn is located within Barangaroo Reserve, just minutes from Sydney CBD and easily accessible by public transport, ferry, taxi, rideshare, cycling or on foot, and connected to a 300-space carpark. Barangaroo Metro Station and Wynyard Station are both within walking distance, providing convenient connections across Sydney. The reserve features wide, paved, step-free pathways, making it highly accessible for visitors of all mobility levels.
Large events: Maximum standing capacity of 3,000 to 3,500 people.
Small events: Picnics of up to 50 people*
Note: *Capacity is based on people not cooking onsite or installing infrastructure, otherwise a permit or venue hire to use Stargazer Lawn is required. The space is based on a first come, first served basis.
